The United Way of Guernsey, Monroe and Noble Counties, in cooperation with Muskingum University and My Free Taxes through H & R Block, is offering free tax preparation and filing services on Saturdays in February and March for qualifying individuals/families.
All returns will be computer prepared and e-filed using IRS authorized software to assure compliance with and to take advantage of all new tax law changes. Volunteers will be available with some experience in tax preparation and are overseen by a CPA. Returns will be completed on an appointment basis only; one return per appointment.
Call the United Way office at 740-439-2667 to see if you qualify and to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be made on a first come, first serve basis and once all time slots are filled no other appointments will be made.
